Here are some places you might put on your to-go list. These places usually hosts interesting orchids on display, but they are certainly worth visiting in their own right. They give you the opportunity to broaden your interest into plants, animals or nature beyond orchids. Whenever possible, links to the web sites of the hosts are included.
Red Butte Garden and Arboretum in Salt Lake City is a beautiful property. You can experience a set of very different views, each unique, on a West-facing hillside, just far enough above the city itself that it provides gorgeous views. Spring, when flower bulbs and trees are in full bloom is not to be missed. Sometimes the best time to see nature outdoors coincides with the orchid show, which is held in orangery. Double the enjoyment for the same price.
